BALA aims to be a platform for the emerging practices in the world of independent publishing in the Basque area, to promote the publishing work of contemporary Basque artists (books, catalogs, self-publishing, original publications or fanzines) and to create a space for dialogue. In this regard, conferences, presentations and workshops have been organized in order to show the artistic abilities of the edition and the requirements from the beginning to the publication.
