KLIN: comics and illustration festival
19 July, ul. Hubska 44-48, Wrocław
An independent one day fest focusing on diy comics, illustration, zines, posters and graphics; including comic book fair, meetings with authors, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, live drawing and more. KLIN takes place in an industrial space from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Main theme of the third edition: city. mass. catastrophe. – which is a paraphrase of the famous manifesto of the interwar avant-garde in Poland: city. mass. machine.

This grassroots, non-commercial initiative arose from a love of visual storytelling, drawing, zines, collage, printmaking, and all forms of analog expression, as well as from the need to support and promote those who engage in them. KLIN is a space for meetings and mutual exchange between creators and the public. KLIN doesn’t shy away from questions about the reality around us. It looks at it critically, creatively, and collectively—through comics, zines, drawings, paintings, and forms outside the mainstream.
